Evaluating and improving system performance

Over time reporting system grows and changes. More content is added and more users will log in. Original capacity plans may be outdated.

System performance review consists of steps to evaluate Cognos BI system architecture, configuration, load during different times of day or month. In addition a number of failed reports will be reported. The end result of the review is a document that shows the present state of the system and recommendations of measures that could be taken to make the system perform better.
